Shiyun: If someone were to ask you who was your main caregiver, that means somebody who take care of you. Who would you think it is?
Aaron: My grandmother
Shiyun: How does your grandmother care for you?
Aaron: When like… my birthday, she will buy something, like the present or the cake or go out somewhere to eat, like the Mcdonalds or KFC
Shiyun: So she’s the one who remembers your birthday
Aaron: Yes…
Shiyun: and celebrates your birthday
Aaron: Yes, and the first one I remembered is my favourite one, when it’s my birthday, my grandmother went to eat Mcdonald’s with me, and my siblings
Shiyun: So that’s a very deep memory for you.
Aaron: Yes.
Shiyun: How old were you then?
Aaron: I’m not so sure, I was just a kid. Ya
Shiyun: But it was a very clear memory for you. Grandma celebrating your birthday
Aaron: Yes
Shiyun: Do you usually celebrate birthdays?
Aaron: Yes, at my grandmother’s house only. But sometimes my father comes to my grandmother house to give me present, ya.
Shiyun: But mainly it’s your grandmother who would prepare the celebrations
Aaron: Yeah, like after the work
Shiyun: In the beginning, we wanted your grandmother to cook, and it didn’t happen. Can you tell us what happened?
Aaron: So basically, my grandmother is working on that day, and she mostly work everyday, and my grandmother wanted to find a time to do, but cannot. Ya.
Shiyun: She’s just too tired?
Aaron: Yeah
Shiyun: So in the end, it’s your father who did it
Aaron: Yes

Shiyun: Did you decide on the dish, or your he decided on the dish?
Aaron: Ya, he decided
Shiyun: Did he ask you?
Aaron: Yeah
Shiyun: So both of you agree
Aaron: Ya, so basically the first, we just want to cook assam pedas, but is cancelled, because like too much ingredients, and we just decide to cook curry chicken, ya.

Shiyun: So these are foods that are cooked by your father?
Aaron: Most of it is my grandma. My father sometimes buys or just cook.
Shiyun: So in the week you will spend 5 days with your grandma, and the weekends with your father… Do you find it confusing?
Aaron: Yeah. So if I pick two, so my father and my grandmother. But sometimes I just sleep at my mother house
Shiyun: Because it is more convenient?
Aaron: yeah
Shiyun: You tend to enjoy cooking at TTKC also
