We’re proud to share that our Assistant Director, Ho Kah Yoke, was recently featured in Social Dimension, the flagship publication of the Singapore Association of Social Workers.
In this piece, co-written with Nicodemus Ching, Kah Yoke reflects on her journey at TTKC, from shaping a casework practice that centres children’s voices, to embracing the long arc of growth that social work often demands.
She shares how values are translated into daily practice at TTKC: whether through children’s town halls, murals, or weekly community performances, the clubhouse is a space where children are not only heard but trusted to lead. At the same time, Kah Yoke highlights the importance of joy, relational rhythms, and holding a long-term vision in the often-demanding field of social work.
