Observe and listen to Pasir Ris in ways you have never experienced before! Kotak Foto (Photo Box) invites you into the magical world of pinhole photography made up of drink cans, garden sheds, paper domes and a 14-foot truck!


Kotak Foto is produced by 3Pumpkins with lead artist Isabelle Desjeux, music composer Phang Kok Jun and residents of Pasir Ris.

    ISABELLE DESJEUX

    Lead Artist

    Isabelle Desjeux is a Singapore-based artist and researcher (MAFA Lasalle, 2011). Trained in Molecular Biology, she creates new kinds of scientific method-based artworks, encouraging others to cross the divide, taking on the role of scientist in her classes, during workshops, or in her installations. Her work is participatory and experimental.

    PHANG KOK JUN

    Music Composer

    Known to be a multifaceted composer, Phang Kok Jun’s music transcends the concert halls, with a repertoire that also includes theatre, film, and other forms of media. Interested in the unique relationship between music and storytelling, Kok Jun is constantly working with artistes of various disciplines to discover new possibilities in music making.
